I am very much looking forward to driving the car for the first time when winter testing begins. Officials ultimately ruled the situation to be dangerous, but they felt it did not affect the overall outcome of the race. It doesn't look like there will be an appeal by the other teams, with arbitration traditionally held at one of the Paris hotels Massa's sheer speed dominated the field for the majority of the race. Even though Hamilton zipped through those two laps fantastically, the lead was only reduced by a second when he pitted. Before his second pit stop, Massa had increased his lead to eight seconds. The German believes the new car will be a big improvement that will move the team forward again. McLaren team boss Ron Dennis is convinced his team can give double world champion Fernando Alonso a strong package in 2007. For me, there is a great motivation in beginning a new era without Fernando, and proving that the strength of Renault is about more than one person. There have always been dominant teams and also rans, but the ability of the also rans to even form a team is now in question.

We are the only top-three team with technical stability, and we know our drivers. I'm looking forward to it when we hit the ground running in January. The Honda Racing F1 team today announced that Christian Klien will replace Anthony Davidson at the Brackley-based Formula 1 team. Earlier today it was announced that Davidson will join Super Aguri as the team's race driver.
